Welcome to the RTE Chair website !
“The Digital Transformation of Electricity Networks”

The RTE Chair is a partnership between RTE and CentraleSupélec. The construction of the Chair has been starting in 2016 and is official since 2017, and for a period of at least 5 years. The RTE Chair coordinator is Samson Lasaulce.

To make significant progresses towards the digital transformation of electricity networks, transmission networks in particular, our vision is to involve 3 labs (L2S, GEEPS, and CIDRE) and put in full synergy at least 4 disciplines  :

  • Communications and signal processing;
  • Control and decision;
  • Power systems;
  • Computer Science.

L2S (Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes) in Gif-sur-Yvette

GEEPS (Génie Electrique et Electronique de Paris) in Gif-sur-Yvette
